I'm trying to find articles for my dissertation and my tutor said I needed to use more than one database to search- does anyone have any recommendations?
- Go and see your subject librarian - they're FABULOUS and (I can only speak for ours) they're often willing to do one-to-one sessions with people who are unsure about how to tackle this. Use a gateway (like OVID) and you can search multiple databases all at one (CINAHL, AMED, MEDline, sportsdiscus, psychinfo)
- EBSCO host is a good database, it brings together CINAHL, Medline and AMED so all journals are in one place
- Pedro
- Cochrane is a good peer review database
